What a sealant layer does for the paint, and when it is renewed
A sealant is a thin protective layer applied to clean paint at the end of the wash. It smooths the surface of the clear coat, adds gloss and makes water bead and roll off instead of sitting on the panel. Dust and grime grip a smooth surface less, so they come off more easily at the next wash.
The sealant is a light layer that wears down gradually with washing, sun and rain, so it is applied again at every visit: in Exterior Only, Stage 1 and Stage 2. The practical sign that it has weakened is that water no longer beads on the hood and roof the way it did.
When Exterior Only is enough: the interior is clean and you want to keep the shine between full details, ₪70–₪100 depending on vehicle size. When it is not: Exterior Only includes no interior work. For a vacuum, surface wipe-down and inside glass choose Stage 1 (₪200–₪250, about 1 to 1.5 hours), and for stains or odors in the upholstery choose Stage 2 (₪350–₪450, usually 2 to 3 hours).
